From September 28th to 29th, the cutting-edge academic forum on intelligent systems with the theme of 'Intelligent Systems for the Future' hosted by Zhejiang Labotary, and co-organized by the robot committee of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence and Zhejiang Robot Industry Association in China Artificial Intelligence Town Zhejiang Lab.
The forum adopts a hybrid form of online and offline meetings, which ZRIA registered actively. More than 20 people, including Secretary-General Guoyao Wang and Deputy Secretary-General Xuequn Zhang and representatives from ZRIA members, attended the live meeting of the forum upon invitation.
The forum host invited famous experts and scholars in the field of robotics to give remarkable speeches around the theme of the conference, and the participants had active interactions with the speakers. Professor Hujun Bao, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Laboratory, delivered a speech at the forum. Professor Guangzhong Yang, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Dean of Medical Robotics Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, delivered a keynote speech on 'Technology and Challenges of Medical Robotics'. In two days, seventeen experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Harbin Industrial University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Southeast University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Hefei University of Technology and Zhejiang Lab intensively shared the frontier international development and the latest research progress in medical robots, mobile robot, the robot tactile interaction technology, space robot, the force exoskeleton robot, humanoid robot, the robot climbing robot, overloading, and multi-robot coordination work.
More than 300 people attended the forum online and offline, most of whom came from front-line experts and technicians from enterprises, research institutes, and universities in the robot industry of Zhejiang province. The forum was well-received. Participants expressed that the forum was forward-looking, practical, and of great guiding significance for scientific research and technological progress. They hoped that Zhejiang Robot Industry Association could support more similar and high-quality academic forums in the future.
